I paid a premium for all of the MapMyApps and they worked well for a long time. I could GPS track a workout and it would sync to Healthapp and then to other apps as advertised. After months of waiting this update was supposed to fix the sync problem but there isnt even so much as a setting to turn on HealthKit sharing within any of the apps. Please fix these apps asap and honor your obligation to your paid customers.
I like the map it creates of my route, but it eats the battery. Not sure Ill use it much.
As advertised.
Had it for a several years and after the first year Ive had no issues.
App works fine but when a pic is taken during my hike it stops working. Frustrating when that happens.
Works well stays out of my way and gives me good information. I always hike and bike with this app.
This app is great for recording all aspects of my hike.
Love this app!!! Wish I can tag people from FB but great app! Very accurate works well just about everywhere. Went to Yosemite and it worked perfect even at 8,000 ft elevation. The only thing is I wish it would sync with my fitness pal. Seems like all the other map my apps sync with it.
Does all I want & need.
This app makes it easy to track your foot travel. So far Ive been able to actually log mileage for scouting for myself and my scouts.
Perfect App! Keeps time, split pace, and you can play any background music easily
Helpful in comparing hikes.
Exactly what I was looking for! Maps my route and gives me distance. Allows me to track my calories burnt. Can listen to music or take a morning conference call while completing my morning walk. Another quality product from Under Armour!!!
Works well Has not crashed Easy to use Recommend
No maps...just grid lines. Lots of advertising by underarmor and this was the paid version. My email is already getting spammed by the app. Went with another app for $20, great maps, no advertising and it has most of the small trails in my little South Carolina hometown, this one did not. It seemed more concerned with my nutrition and caloric intake than being a decent hiking and map app. This was worthless to me.
I use this often as the backup to my Microsoft Band when I hike/run. The top things I like: (1) The call outs each mile that give your pace and split time. (2) Seems to be very considerate regarding battery use. There are a few things that annoy me: (1) I could only share my hike to Facebook if I changed my FB default privacy settings to public (um, no). (2) I like how it tries to identify the trail you have run, but unlike dedicated hiking apps, its not great for discovering new trails. It does have a neat feature though that suggests routes. Whether these are algorithmically generated or just sharing some anonymous persons previous track, I dont know. It would also be nice if it interfaced with more devices (like, say, my Microsoft Band!). Even so, its a nice app.
Simple and accurate!
Great app, but with this last update I cant see the GPS bars when tracking a hike. Please put that back visible while tracking.
I had back surgery in August 2015. My neurosurgeon prescribed walking 2 miles per day. MapMyHike has made it easy for me to keep track of distance for each walk along with comments on state of my health. It also keeps track of my total mileage hiked. The only problem I have had is that the app wont fully launch where there is no cell service.
